Direct Care Worker (DCW)
Job Description
BEHA Home Health Care is looking for dedicated Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to provide hands-on support to individuals who need assistance with daily living. You will help clients maintain independence, dignity, and a high quality of life.
Requirements
- Experience in caregiving or direct care preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Compassionate and reliable personality
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, hygiene)
- Support mobility and daily routines
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Help with medication reminders (non-clinical)
- Perform light housekeeping
- Observe and report any changes in client condition
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience with special needs or elderly care
